Heartbreak
Heartbreak is an odd kind of pain, coz you’re not dying…
You’re not even sick.
For all intents and purposes, you’re perfectly fine.
Yet, inside where your heart used to be, you hurt so much that you can’t
breathe, you can’t sleep, and you can’t stop the tears from falling.

You may not eat too much, you may not eat at all.
Nonsmokers light up, nondrinkers find a bar.
A broken heart is the world’s greatest equalizer, coz it can bring even the strongest man to his knees.

Heartbreak is the worse pain in the world because there really is no good remedy…it takes time to heal. We could go use a new person to get over the old, but this will surely fail and be unfair to the new person. We could drink or use drugs to kill the pain, but it will still be there when we sober up or may only intensify the feeling. You just can’t win with a broken heart.
